Tom Davis, a Vietnam veteran and founder and President of the Interfaith Veterans’ Workgroup, preached to the congregation at the Presbyterian Church of the Covenant on the occasion of Veterans’ Day, 2018. Meditation has proved to be a very helpful means of calming veterans who are suffering from post traumatic stress. Pastor Davis himself has been practicing two types of Eastern meditation for about two years. In this sermon he describes several ways to meditate and the health benefits of meditation.
